IAAM – the Italian Association for Arts and Music is a non-profit
association with the purpose of social promotion, established in 2008.
The main purpose of IAAM is the spreading of all arts and in
particular of music as a universal language bringing people
together and enabling them to express themselves.
It is a cultural association addressing mainly young people.
It organizes and runs educational and training activities in the
field of arts and music.
What we do
IAAM is meant to give a contribution to the social wellbeing
of the community and of individuals by trying to improve life
quality, by doing its best to reduce social differences,
problems and discriminations and by promoting people’s
rights, research, culture, the different forms of knowledge,
and the protection of the natural and social environment
where we live.
How we operate
In order to meet our social objective, IAAM aims at
- Establishing a Study Center to direct young people to the
basic theoretical and practical learning of arts and music;
- Organizing training, courses, refresher stages, conferences,
meetings, reviews and other types of events on arts and
music;
- Creating groups of musicians, choirs, ensembles,
orchestras to the end of popularizing our association;
- Promoting cultural exchanges with other associations with
the same statutory object as our own;
- Setting up a library, listening hall and documentation center
open to its members and to citizens in general, offering a
service of public utility to all those who are interested in the
study and practice of arts, and of music in particular;
- Signing agreements with public and private agencies;
- Spreading the ideals of the association and information
about the activities carried out in the most suitable manners
through periodical newsletters and editorial activities;
- Promoting any other initiative aiming at stimulating the
knowledge of, use of, application of and passion for music
and arts mainly in young people but also in adults and elderly people.

IAAM aims at promoting and
spreading its initiatives on the
whole Italian territory and
abroad, also by establishing
local associations with the
same objectives as its own,
the meeting of which will be
guaranteed and controlled.
